Finally have a little snow and cold. Yesterday we almost broke a record high temp and by 5pm the bottom dropped out. We are expecting a high in the upper 20s and have an inch or so of crusty snow on the ground.
Fishing remains very good. Still streamers are doing it at Fremont Canyon, Grey Reef and Miracle Mile. Nymphing continues to be the most consistent per usual with dry fly opportunities still presenting themselves. Nearly everyday in the winter there is a very robust midge hatch. Couple that hatch with calm conditions and you will see some very good dry fly fishing. This is always available in the winter months.
