Yesterday fished well and Grey Reef was dialed up a few clicks to 1500cfs. This did dislodge some floaties but the fishing was good. The lower river again increased a couple shades of yuck but will hopefully clear over the coming week. Yesterday fish were garbage canning large PMD adults in the middle of the heaviest runs on the uppermost reaches of Grey Reef…a cool scene! Miracle Mile fly fishing is great and we are seeing the peak of the Golden Stones more than likely. Caddis, PMDs and Yellow Sallies will dominate the remainder of the month. Tricos and hopefully hoppers will be the next big story. I dreamed about hoppers last night…
