Cheap Fly Fishing Trips, Cheap Lodging

Central Wyoming fly fishing rules the pack in the shoulder and winter seasons. November 15th marks entry into our cheap season. Day trip prices are reduced by a $100 and cottages are reduced as well. We also have Stay & Fish Packages that make the combo even cheaper. Is the fishing any less productive? Nope…in fact it can be more productive, so your bang for the buck is the best.  We do have a couple cottages still available for each of the next 3 weekends and guide availability is pretty good. We will be starting off-season projects relatively soon so pounding a few nails and slinging paint is in our near future.

Grey Reef Fishing Report is awesome. Streamer activity is very good and the dry fly thing is still going off with baetis. Of course, nymphing is a no-brainer but bring all the tools to get ’em all the ways. The North Platte River is very clear from our location at Grey Reef to Glendo. Pssst, stay up high in the system if you want to hook fish like the one above. Miracle Mile fishing report  has been hit and miss. One day thump them with streamers and the next it is pretty quiet. Is it worth it? Absolutely, but Grey Reef is more consistent with far less congestion. Fremont Canyon Fishing Report is solid. Pretty standard Fremont conditions exist and fishing is very good…drys and streamers included. A light, stealthy emerges rig will be the most productive however.

It is a good time to focus on your 2018 fly fishing trip. We have some full lodge options so check in with us to see if we can accommodate your group and timing.
