Well, we finally got some decent precipitation in Central Wyoming and for the meantime it looks and feels a little like winter. Long range shows us warming back up but hopefully we can stay in some type of a wet cycle. Otherwise, as you would expect, the fishing has been good. Standard winter fare-leeches, scuds, midges and worms are what we have been throwing as far as nymphs are concerned. Streamers have also been productive, just make sure to slow down your retrieve. Other than that, the shop has been filling up with new gear/fly patterns/etc. and the cottages got a few improvements this offseason, so make sure to swing in if you are in our neck of the woods. We are ready to kick off the season and excited to get going!
Current Flows:
GREY REEF:500cfs
FREMONT CANYON:72cfs
MIRACLE MILE:550cfs +/-
The shop will no longer be selling fishing licenses, so please make sure to have it before you get here.
There have been positive, substantial changes made to our North Platte fishing regs. Make sure you’re up to speed.
