Back to big winds ahead of a chilly front. Yesterday was 52* and on Friday we will see a high of 9*. Fishing is unchanged. Grey Reef and Miracle Mile are both producing very nicely and Fremont is cold and off color. We are expecting snow and really need a big dump locally. Our snowpack in drainages that count is in the 85% range so looking pretty nice for water supply. But, locally we are around 20%…not so good for our ranching friends, hunting or most anything else.
We are busy with our projects and spending a lot of time on the phone. Thanks for thinking of us! Now the North Platte Lodge and The Reef Fly Shop will offer even more services to the angler or visitor of the Alcova area. Our cottages will be very cool! Airy and open with great views. Big burly furnishings, tiled baths and very nice kitchens.
The lodge will get 2 new guest rooms for a total of 6 rooms to welcome 12 anglers. We have some limited availability in April and May. June and July are tight but still have a couple options and August and September have some great spots available. Expect some nice changes to the living areas of the lodge as well!
Like the RV lifestyle but want some amenities? We will have sites at the shop and a handful with feature full hookups with 50 amp service and the rest will have 50 amp services only with fresh water and a dump station.
Of course we will have our river shuttle service, rental drift boats, a fully stocked fly shop with an excellent fly selection ( and the best river info in the land). Not to mention the most experienced full time guide staff in the region. Did I forget that we provide, by far, the most private access to to our guests? Well yes, that too! 17 miles of it.
