Grey Reef and Big Fish Day

Grey Reef Fly Fishing remains excellent. Yesterday was big fish day on all modes. 22″ brown on a dry fly. 24″ rainbow nymphing the bank. 23″ brown pounding the bank with streamers. Needless to say we are in the most diverse angling season of the year. Tricos are out and bringing the fish up. Yellow sallies and PMDs made a pretty good show yesterday. Short nympph rigs with foam backed whatevers where by far our most productive bugs. Streamers have been getting plenty of attention. Pretty amazing right now and with and abundance of little hoppers around we may be in for a treat in a couple weeks? We do have some cottage availability and some guided spots available as well.

Fall is coming fast and is a special time on the Grey Reef and Miracle Mile sections of the North Platte River.
