Brrrr! Not really but after the nice temps of the past several months it feels cold. Current temp at Grey Reef is 36* and you can always check current conditions on the NPL weather page located to the right. It will give barometric info, wind speeds/trends, temps, moisture totals and chill factors. Pretty cool resource for the Grey Reef angler. We won’t get much above 40* today but this low condition is good for fishing most of the time. Bundle up and get on the water! Tomorrow will be 60* and calm…looks perfect. We will be back in the mid 70s by early next week. Our weird Grey Reef flow of 450cfs has been nice of wade access and isn’t hurting a thing. We aren’t supposed to be below 500cfs so are wondering what is the scoop?
Fremont Canyon fly fishing is really good. Don’t go without your dry fly rod.
Miracle Mile fly fishing is also very solid but roads will likely be goopy today. I might hold off until tomorrow or even Saturday.
