Yesterday was pretty nice and a little blustery at times. Fishing was solid with sluggish critters early in the day. Nymphing was done on a 5-6ft rig and a b shot or two. Deep Purple, scuds, Reef Worms, JuJu midge in olive were all good producers. Water conditions were great up until late yesterday when the lower sections became a little green. The upper is still looking good. The big snows are melting but cool evenings will keep run off to a minimum. We are bracing for another round of wintery conditions on Monday but tomorrow is supposed to be in the low 50s.
Project progress is moving at a slower pace due to winter storms the past couple weeks. Snow and mud make dirt work ineffective. We are hoping to get things in order soon but Mother Nature will have to cooperate!
