Things have not improved much here on the North Platte River. Rain again last night. Visibility is a bit better on the upper stretch and a few boats out yesterday did ok and boated some respectable fish even with the dirty water. Bigger, dark patterns like a Hot Head or Pine Squirrel leech as the lead fly, trailed by a baetis or midge got the job done. Our boats at the Miracle Mile did well on Saturday, but the road conditions may be tough today. With a forecast of heavy rain at times today, we are keeping our fingers crossed that the storms bypass us. If your are planning to float Grey Reef today try and get out early to miss the precipitation.
