Grey Reef Fishing Report

Our little cold snap as turned out to be less dramatic than originally thought. The temps are cool but very little wind and just a few snow flakes early this AM. Only 5 boats out today with most on the upper 30 miles of Grey Reef. Nymphing remains very productive, dry fly activity has dwindled with the cool temps and streamers are also doing well. We will be back in the mid 50s by Sunday and mid 60s by Wednesday. The lower stretches of Grey Reef between Casper and Glenrock are fishing well but there is quite a bit of suspended river snot. The upper is clear and goop free.
