Grey Reef Fishing Report – Good Weather / Great Fishing!

Well, the weather has finally broken and we are enjoying temps in the 50’s today with light winds here on Grey Reef.  Fishing continues to be excellent both with streamers and nymphs.  The forecast is for much of the same through the weekend! We have boats on the Grey Reef section of the N. Platte river today and I look for and excellent report from our guides when they come in this evening.  Conditions below Government Bridge are still iffy with run off from Bear and Bolton creeks clouding the water considerably, especially in the afternoon.  Trappers Route is still muddy and caution should be exercised if travel is planned to that section of river. Better yet, don’t risk it!

The spring flush on the N.Platte River system is now scheduled for March 18th due to residual ice closer to Casper.  We will let you know if anything changes.
