Grey Reef Fishing Report / North Platte River

The 2 Fly charity tournament is underway.  The North Platte River will be seeing 29 boats and 58 guests and the Grey Reef section (Grey Reef Dam to Government Bridge) will be home to these eager anglers for the the next 2 days.  Those who do not want to get into the floatilla should concentrate their efforts to below Government Bridge, the Miracle Mile or Fremont Canyon until Saturday.  Clarity is finally good below Government Bridge.  Bates Creek however, is still flowing good.  This will muddy things up on the lower half of the Bridge to Sechrist float.  Fish are still being caught regularly there even though clarity is not great.  Midge and Baetis patterns are still producing good numbers of trout river wide.
