Grey Reef Fishing Report / North Platte River

Great weather is expected for the upcoming weekend and the fishing is still great on all sections of the North Platte River.  Leeches are the dominant fare with a Baetis dropper below Government Bridge and Reef worms, Midge and Baetis patterns producing well in the Grey Reef section.  The Miracle Mile will be experiencing high flows for the next week according to our sources at the Bureau of Rec, as the are filling Pathfinder Reservoir as quickly as possible.  As a result I would think the Mile will be littered with debris and unfishable  early on. Check the flows or call me at the shop if you are planning a trip there.
