Been a busy couple of days!!  Lots of trips and lots of folks stopping in the shop.  Thank you to all those that stopped in!  As for the fishing…after hearing from our guides for the past week, I finally got to experience the fishing/guiding for myself this weekend.  Grey Reef is fishing awesome right now, especially the upper!  With the water levels receding the “floaties” have gotten a lot better and the river is as clear as we have ever seen it this time of year.  UV leeches, foam RS2s, and various scuds have been the ticket as far as nymphs are concerned.  But we are starting to do well on streamers and tricos continue to provide the most consistent dry fly opportunities.  FYI there are some really big fish holding along the banks mid-day…perfect for sight-fishing.
