Fly fishing central Wyoming is as good as it gets in the spring. Miracle Mile, Grey Reef and Fremont Canyon all fishing well. Alcova weather is beautiful this AM but it is supposed to be a breezy afternoon. Highs in the 70s make fair weather anglers happy. Sunday is scheduled to be chilly with potential for snow but a quick recovery afterward.
The F3T was a fun event last night. We sold a bunch of BuffTrout hats on the cheap and gave away a fishing trip and a cottage stay. Big shout out to our buddy Adam Amick on another stellar film featuring The Reef Fly Shop. We have a moderate week ahead so call and get on the water! After Easter things get crazy for a while…until mid October. We do have a good weekend opening the first weekend in May. Get a couple buddies and be treated to a full North Platte Lodge experience.
PS the Grey Reef section is in good shape but the warm temps have the drainages pumping mud into the North Platte River above Government Bridge.
