Well, we got hit by another serious cold front again here in Alcova, Wyoming. Saturday was rough, with temperatures well into the negatives with wind chill. Shockingly our guests in the cottages, Grey Reef lodging, stuck it out and made a weekend of it! Looks like the weather is going to hold this week and through the weekend. NOAA is reporting temps in the 40s and 50s with moderate winds. This might be the breakout week for Gray Reef!
We are still seeing great numbers of fish, especially larger browns on streamers. A slow stripped goldie, sheila sculpin and/or clouser minnow was the ticket over the weekend. Our top nymphs continue to be deep purple, GS mayhem and a UV leech.
