The last week brought back cold temps to Alcova and Central Wyoming. In a matter of 72hrs-Grey Reef Reservoir, Alcova Reservoir, Pathfinder Reservoir and sections of Grey Reef below Lusby have iced over. And it looks like the incoming winter storm, today and tomorrow, is only going to add to it! But on the bright side the weekend forecast is showing mid 40s. Now, as for the fishing…the streamer bite on Grey Reef continues to be hit or miss. Our best days continue to line-up with the worst weather…the crappier the weather the better the streamer bite seems to be. Super yummy(olive), articulated goldie, super near-nuff(tan) and various dungeons have all been producing fish. The nymph game continues to be more of the same-leeches, reef worms and small foam-back midge patterns.
