As of this morning Grey Reef flows are holding steady at 1,000cfs and temperatures are at 48-51F. With the amount of moisture hitting our area and Western Nebraska, this flow drop is no surprise. We guess…. Upper Grey Reef is now in excellent shape and the fish are heavy on the feed. If we continue to have good clarity and flows remain at 1,000cfs we should enter full blown “mini” rig fishing. Small bugs(i.e. jujubaetis, pulsating emerger, PAL, mayhem, etc.) on a light(1-2 #4 shot), short(3-5ft)-nymph rig! This is when it get’s super fun!!
