Grey Reef / Miracle Mile / Fremont Canyon Fishing Report

Things have been pretty quiet here this week.  Grey Reef is fishing really well.  The weeds are getting better everyday and the trout are now in more of their usual places.  The leech has been the big producer, paired with either a worm, RS2 or small nymph. Clarity is definitely better up high and very clear below the bridge to town.  Some browns are being caught at the Miracle Mile, but it hasn’t really heated up yet.  This weekend should be it.  The moon phase is right and flows are perfect.  Swinging a Goldie with a Crawdizzle trailer should produce a good number of strikes. Fremont Canyon is holding steady at 450 cfs.  The action in the canyon has been great all week.  Nymphing the pocket water or throwing big streamers off the shelves has been the way to go.

We still have one cottage left for this weekend.  Get it while the gettin’s good!
