Once again, the Bureau of Rec has bumped the flows. The Miracle Mile is at 3500 cfs, Fremont Canyon is at 700 cfs and Grey Reef is sitting at 2800 cfs. No word on whether or not they will continue to increase over the weekend. We had boats out yesterday from the Reef to Chalk Bluff and all enjoyed good fishing and great weather. The Yellow Sallies are building everyday as well as the PMDs. Fishing these patterns is very productive from about 11:30 am to 3:00 pm. In the mornings leeches, worms and midge patterns are a good bet. The Miracle Mile continues to fish very well and the top water action has been steady with large attractors with a stonefly dropper. We had boats there yesterday and they did well. Fish can be had at Fremont Canyon but it may take a little effort. Ripping streamers through the Cardwell section has been good. Everyone have a happy holiday weekend and good fishing!
