Grey Reef / Miracle Mile / Fremont Canyon Fishing Report

What a beautiful weekend!  We had boats everywhere yesterday, from the Miracle Mile to Casper and all enjoyed pretty good fishing.  Some nice browns were caught at the Mile and apparently San Juan worms were the flies of the day.  A hopper dropper was the rig of choice from Sechrist to town.  The action wasn’t fast and furious, but several nice fish were taken, especially between Bessemer and Robertson road.  Fremont Canyon received a good amount of pressure Friday and Saturday, but most are already headed home.  Fish were being caught on streamers, RS2’s, worms, leeches and some top water action was had on Trico’s as well.  Though the fishing is a bit challenging at Grey Reef with the vegetation right now, the trout can still be caught.  Spend a little time adjusting your depth and weight in every fishable run and keep your flies clean!  The trout are there…
