Grey Reef / North Platte River Fishing Report

The water keeps coming!! Grey Reef is running at 2,000 CFS and the fishing is excellent! Below government bridge is still murky with a fair amount of floating debris, but should clear out once they stabilize the flows. Great reports from all of our guides, PMD and yellow sallies were the ticket yesterday. The gold bead poxyback, CDC pheasant tail, and the foam post RS2 in rusty and gray were all great bugs. Darker leeches and reef worms are also doing well.  The flows at the mile fluctuated yesterday due to a malfunctioning turbine, so double check the flows before you go out and pay attention to changing water conditions. Fremont has also been fishing well with some great surface action, especially in the evenings after the storms blow through. The weather this week looks awesome with highs in the 80’s with a chance of storms in the afternoon. Stop by the shop or give us a call and we can set up up to have a really fantastic day!
