Grey Reef Pounded by Large Thunderstorm

It has been a weird day. The storm that piled up onto Coal Mountain and didn’t move for sometime before it began inching its way back to the west had use using terms like”creepy” and “remember the last time?” Turned out a well formed tornado was behind the wall of rain but clearly displayed from the other side on Casper Mountain. An hour later Alcova was hit with a deluge that is still dropping rain. Many of the drainages are packing a lot of water and the Grey Reef section of the North Platte River is blown out. Convenient for the start of a holiday weekend! Right now we are trying to restore power and making sure everybody is okay. Trent and Lee made a recon to confirm the extent of the flooding. Our boats on the water today were able to stay out of much of the chaos and had great fishing. We will keep you posted…
