After another bump in flows on 6/15, Grey Reef is holding steady at 1,000cfs. As for the Miracle Mile it’s still steady at 530cfs +/- and Fremont Canyon is right around 75cfs. We are happy to report that water conditions are good across the board. With the most recent bump in flows, Grey Reef water temperatures have dropped down into the low 50s on the upper river. Bugs are popping-as we are currently seeing tricos, PMDs, sallies, midges and caddis on a daily basis. Our guide crew has been getting them on nymphs, dries, streamers and dry/dropper rigs. It has been a whole lot of fun out there to say the least and with the favorable conditions, there’s a lot of water to fish! We are expecting flows to hold for the time being but if something changes, we’ll let you know.
The shop will no longer be selling fishing licenses, so please make sure to have it before you get here.
There have been positive, substantial changes made to our North Platte fishing regs. Make sure you’re up to speed.
