Well folks, springtime is clipping right along here in Central Wyoming. Grey Reef has settled into a sweet spot at 2,000cfs and water conditions are about as good as you can ask for. This flow is pretty awesome, it’s quicker to push out any runoff from moisture events and all those in-between stretches become some pretty good holding water, allowing you to fish that stuff you’d normally push through at lower flows. The baetis are popping and the fish are happy! Streamer fishing is consistent as well, especially if we have a little cloud cover. We do still have plenty of fish on redds, so please continue to be considerate of those. Otherwise, we really have zero complaints, this has been a great beginning to the 2025 season.

GREY REEF: 2,000cfs. Clear/mostly clear to Casper and beyond. 4-7ft, indicator to split shot, 1 #4-1 AB. NYMPHS: Leeches(natural,brown or olive), UV leeches, San Juan worm(red or purple) mayhem midge, grey foam-wing RS2, macgruber, juju baetis, Barr’s emerged, big bear baetis, and all day mays. STREAMERS: rusty t, goldie, articulated goldie, butcher.

FREMONT CANYON: 75cfs. Mostly clear. 3-7ft, indicator to split shot, 1-3 BB. Leeches(natural, brown or black), reef worm, brassie, foam-wing RS2, all-day may(black and olive) and mayhem midges.

MIRACLE MILE: 1,100cfs +/-. Mostly clear. 5-7ft, indicator to split shot, 1 BB-1 AB. NYMPHS: Leeches(natural, brown or black), HH leech, san juan(red or wine), orange scud, pheasant tail, and mayhem midge(grey or black), foam-wing RS-2. STREAMERS: rusty t, goldie, peanut envy(black), slayer.
