Grey Reef fished good yesterday but wasn’t lighting the world on fire. We had 7 boats out yesterday and 2 did exceptionally well. There was a noticeable lack of bugs until late in the day but we still saw midges, baetis and psuedos. Scuds have been a popular snack as have leeches, and crawdad patterns. Of course the old standbys like the foam wing rs2, All Day May, PT and hare’s ears. The fish were pretty willing to chase and the streamer bite is kicking in. It is not too late to be planning a Grey Reef attack. Things should be very acceptable into the middle of November. Things as in there weather. Fishing will ramp up to stupid and we should start to see a crop of ridiculously large fish gracing the net. The Reef Fly Shop, Cottages & RV has some availability and booking for your desired dates shouldn’t be a problem through the quiet months. only 1 unit available for Thanksgiving weekend! 3 still for your Jan 1 get together. We are the only public lodging and private lodge on Grey Reef Rd. Our cottages feature the largest and nicest guests spaces in the region….Casper included. Our location can’t be matched.

Fremont Canyon received favorable reports yesterday and Miracle Mile has been a roller coaster but apparently the walleye are eating well.
