I guess you can kind of say we are officially at the midpoint of the season, give or take. It’s been a pretty awesome season thus far and are looking forward to see what the back half brings. Not what we were expecting but Grey Reef has seen another little drop in flows, now currently sitting at 1,600cfs. PMDs, sallies, caddis and tricos are all on the menu. If we keep these flows we’d expect trico activity to only go up from here. Bring on the dry fly fishing! Golden stones are still fluttering around on the Mile and reports have been good from that neck of the woods. All and all, no complaints on our end, everything is fishing pretty darn good!
If you are planning on heading this way make sure to buy your license before you arrive.
