North Platte Fishing Report

We have had guide boats on the water everyday and we are getting good reports from our guides and guests.  The lower river, especially below Bates Creek is experiencing some pretty heavy floating vegetation right now.  Granted this time of year it’s going to be everywhere, the lower river has seen the worst of it.  Regardless, the fishing is solid and if you can get a clean drift, your catching fish.  As for hatches, tricos in the a.m. and caddis in evenings….with no big mid-day hatch we are doing better on the big stuff-leeches, worms and crawdads from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
