So we had a little break from almost a week straight of “tropical storm” force winds. Despite the wind we still had a few trips out and even managed to get in a little personal fishing on Grey Reef and Miracle Mile. The streamer program on the Mile seemed to be smaller and slower-a crawdizzle and ice minnow on an SA streamer express, 150gr. As for Grey Reef , take your pick. Any bug, olive in color, seems to be the ticket. Burgin bugger, crawdizzle, urchin, etc. Although the smaller “bugger” style streamers and various crawdads seems to be catching the numbers on Grey Reef, we are catching the bigger fish on larger articulated patterns…especially Morrish’s medusa!
