We finally got a much needed snow storm in Central Wyoming. Thus far 2013 had been pretty quite as far as the weather was concerned. As of today everything in our area is under a thick(6″-10″) blanket of white. For those willing to fish through last weekends storm, it was worth it. A solid streamer bite along with the steadfast nymph rig produce great fishing all weekend. It seems as of late we are doing the best on big nymphs; leeches, worms, scuds and crawdads. And on the calm days we are picking some fish up on dries; griffith’s gnat, para adams, matt’s midge, miracle midge.
