Today would be a great day to be on the water. Conditions right now in Alcova, Wyoming are sitting in the low 30s, winds 5-10mph and overcast skies. Could be fishing dries at Fremont right now or stripping a streamer on Grey Reef… Not the case, office work is calling my name. Oh well. A quick report…we are still seeing a few iced up stretches on the lower stretches of upper Grey Reef. The most productive water definitely lies in the upper 5 or so miles. Standard fare-leeches, scuds, micro worms, midges-are our nymphs of choice and we continue to pick up some fish on a slow swing and strip. Attached to this report is a picture we received this morning from TRFS guide Greg Smith of fellow TRFS guide Adam Boehlke and a monster S. Louisiana redfish. Enjoy!
