North Platte Fly Fishing-Clear to Casper

Well water conditions on the big three(Fremont, Mile and Grey Reef) are great!!!  As far as Grey Reef is concerned we are fishable to Casper and we have had boats over the past few day float all the way to town.  The fishing is solid, top to bottom!  We have had a slow down as far as the streamer bite is concerned but the nymphing has been borderline on fire!  We are doing very well on small bugs…midges, baetis and various worms.

Here’s an excerpt from an e-mail we received from one of our anglers….

“Just wanted to thank you for your work in setting us up with Adam last Thursday.  We had a great day of fishing.  Basically, no wind even late in the day.  I was almost wondering if I was fishing somewhere but Wyoming.  Adam was a great guide; worked hard for us; great pleasure to fish with and he seemed to have fun as well.
Kathy decided to keep track and she landed 57 fish including several extra heavy thick rainbows.  I didn’t keep track but caught  a lot of fish as well.  Even caught a nice 19″ Cutthroat in Banker Channel.”
