Sorry for the lack of reports, its been a busy week! First things first, the rumor on Grey Reef is we will be receiving a MUCH NEEDED raise in water this coming week. We are guessing flows should be somewhere between 1,500 and 1,800cfs…this is a fantastic level for us! As for the fishing…it’s just awesome, there’s no other way to put it. Granted the streamer bite on the lower has slowed down a bit we continue to have great nymph fishing with some dry fly activity mixed in. From our guides latest report, the fishing on the Miracle Mile is steady but not as good as Grey Reef. Pat’s rubber legs, HH mohair leech, san juans and crawdizzles continue to be our top bugs on the Mile! All three tailwaters are experiencing good baetis and midge hatches on a daily basis!
