North Platte Fly Fishing-Grey Reef Report

First things first…Grey Reef is on its way up.  We are currently at 795cfs and should be at 900cfs by Tuesday.   Our source tells us we should stay around 900-1,000cfs through the end of April.  We have had guide boats on the water everyday and the fishing is really good from Grey Reef Dam to Casper.  Baetis(jujubaetis, barr’s bwo, pheasant-tails) seem to be at the top of the menu on the upper river as for the water below Gov. Bridge-micro san juan’s, hh mohair leeches, UV leeches have been our guides go-to bugs!
