Have to say, there seems to be a little fall in the air this morning. We a have a cool, stiff breeze this morning in Central Wyoming. Flows are on the way down at Grey Reef and we should expect to be at low flows(500cfs) by the end on the week. Fishing the past fews day on upper Grey Reef has been excellent for our guide staff. Most of them are running nymph rigs- 6-9ft, 1-3BBs and a hh leech/scud/crayfish/caddis rig. With flows going down it looks like it’s going to be another great fall on the Platte. Streamer fishing should start heating up in the coming weeks, along with some great dry fly opportunities(baetis and pseudo) and of course great nymphing to fill in any gaps.
