First things first…Grey Reef is muddy below Gov. Bridge. We had a serious rain/wind/lightning event in Central Wyoming last night and it had a negative impact on the river. Barring no more major thunderstorms, the river should begin clearing up tonight and should be fishable in the next day or two. Grey Reef is currently flowing at 2,200cfs, the Mile is at 1,000cfs, respectively. Trico fishing on upper Grey Reef continues to offer the most consistent dry fly fishing. The nymphing is borderline ridiculous with pmds, sallies, caddis and various sunken trico patterns.
