North Platte Fly Fishing Report-Big Cold Front On It’s Way

Well, we should all be thankful for a really nice November on the North Platte!!!  That being said, we have some REALLY cold conditions on it’s way to Wyoming.  All weather reports are showing highs in the single digits and lows in the negatives.  This is going to be a good.  If conditions like this last we will start to see ice conditions on Grey Reef. At the very least, accesses below Lusby will become unfishable and we may be out of floating the upper for a spell.  We usually see ice over conditions below Ledge Crk.  Keep in mind…the wade fishing on upper Grey Reef, Fremont and Miracle Mile will still be going strong…it just depends on your cold tolerance!
