North Platte Fly Fishing Report-Grey Reef, North Platte River, Wyoming

So the folks who got out after the flush yesterday, on upper Grey Reef, did really well!  Leech, scud, crayfish and worm patterns were the name of the game.  Nymphing seemed to be the most productive but several of our guides did well throwing various streamers; goldie, dungeon(tan), and other various bugger style patterns.

The Grey Reef flush is working it’s magic.  As of this a.m. Grey Reef, fom the Dam to Lusby is looking even better.  We only have one problem…all roads in and out of Alcova, Wyoming are currently closed.  We have been getting hit by rain/sleet/snow since about 10p.m. last night.  We will keep you posted!
