The guides had a pretty good day at the Miracle Mile yesterday. Several big browns were boated! Worms, leeches and the Reef’s crawdizzle accounted for most of the trout taken. I also had a good report from Fremont Canyon/Cardwell. The Rs2 foam post was on fire yesterday. With the flows back to 80 cfs there, the fishing has returned to normal…. Great! Many of the guys I talked to that fished Grey Reef yesterday said it was a little slower than usual but what they lacked in numbers they made up for it in size. Many did well on a scud/leech, scud/worm combo. With the good weather forecast I look for the fishing to only improve over the weekend.
