North Platte River Fishing Report

Fishing holding it’s own in a big way. Still having super productive days. Early AM trico spinners and late pm caddis great for dry fly. Hopper dropper rigs also producing throughout the day. Streamers getting attention and the short nymph rig lighting them up. Mercers epoxy back, epoxy back hares ears, cdc cased PMD emergers, black pulsating emergers (used as a sunken trico), red fox squirrels, PALs etc etc. Crawdad, scuds and leaches. It doesn’t get better with regard to variety than the height of summer at Grey Reef. Bring all of your rods and be prepared to use them!

We are really impressed with how many folks have realized how great this time of year is. Our guides are really busy and we are regretfully having to turn some folk away due to no guides available. Thanks so much for the support. Also amazing the quantity of early booking for 2014. Our guests always have the option to keep their dates for the following year and most do, but we are seeing a lot of guest referrals or new groups spinning off of existing groups. Again, thanks so much for supporting us.
