North Platte River Fishing Report

Well the Miracle Mile flows have been increased to 2050 cfs.  If it will remain there is unsure at this time.  I haven’t talked to anyone who has been there this week, so clarity may be an issue.  I will keep you posted.  Be sure to check the flows before venturing out.  Here at Grey Reef the flows are still at 500 cfs with no plans to increase them, at least as of this writing.  Clarity is great and dropping down to 4x on our rigs has increased the numbers of strikes.  Fly selection remains the same midges, baetis, worms and leeches.  Clarity below Government bridge is better, though Bates Creek is still running hard and muddying things up halfway down river on the Sechrist float.  I do not anticipate that changing this week.
