After a brief spell of some off color water here on the reef, things are rebounding nicely. All of our boats out yesterday did well and things are steady today. The runoff from Ledge creek has subsided and clarity has improved drastically from Grey Reef to Lusby. Bolton and Bear creeks continue to stain things up from their confluences to well below Government Bridge. Nymphing is still the way to go for sheer numbers of trout but a slow retrieve with a streamer just might put a monster in the boat. Effective patterns have been the Purple Impaler, Black GS Mayhem Midge, Purple and Red San Juans, Purple and Chocolate RS2 Foam Posts, Pine Squirrel Leeches, Amber Scuds, Goldies, Sex Dungeons and Sparkle Minnows.
The Flush is still set to start at 12:00 am on 3/18 and will run through 3/26. We will let you know if anything changes.
