What a perfect fishing day here on Grey Reef. No wind and temps in the mid 50’s! I received great reports from all of our guides out yesterday on the Grey Reef section of the North Platte. Leeches, reef worms and egg patterns seemed to be the preferred flavor of flies by the eager trout. Clarity is much improved below Government bridge today and there are a few boats giving that part of the river a try. I look for positive feedback from those anglers. The Miracle Mile was fishing well yesterday even with the increased flows. Fly selection was pretty much the same as on Grey Reef with egg patterns doing the best. Road conditions are good.
