So…Grey Reef is in good shape, we are definitely experiencing a fair amount of “floaties” (floating vegetation) but the river is clear and temperatures remain around 60F. The fishing the past couple of days has been excellent!!! Nymphing and stripping streamers down low (below Gov. Bridge) has been productive all day. As for upper Grey Reef….hunting risers in the morning has been good and nymphing small bugs-scuds, cdc case pmds, foam wing RS2s, etc., continues to produce big numbers. Miracle Mile is fishing fair with various leech patterns and san juan worms being our top picks. Fremont continues to be VERY off-color and the fishing is fair on leeches, scuds, and caddis.
