North Platte River / Grey Reef Conditions

The spring flush has concluded on the North Platte River and the positive effects are already apparent, especially below Government Bridge.  Clarity, however is not good, as run off from Washout Creek, Bear Creek and Bolton Creek are gunking things up from just below Lusby to Casper today. Visibility is very good from Grey Reef to Ledge Creek and a bit stained from there to Lusby.  Fishing remains very good on the upper and that should not change.  The normal fare of leeches, worms and midge patterns are all producing with regularity.  We have boats on the water as I write this and I will have an updated report first thing tomorrow, along with a forecast for the weekend.  Stop in and say hello.
