North Platte River, Grey Reef, Wyoming-Fishing Report

Per usual the weather man was wrong again!  The forecast for Central Wyoming over the weekend was calling for warm and windy…it was not!  Temps well below freezing, overcast and a light North wind made for a somewhat chilly day.  We had two Grey Reef guide boats floating the upper(Gray Reef-Lusby) yesterday and it was borderline on fire!  Our anglers threw nothing but streamers-the smaller, thinner profile,  the better.  Anything with a thinner profile in olive, brown or black seemed to perk their interest.  Top flies-envy(olive) #4, loop leech(black) #6, shiela(natural) #6.  From about 9am-2pm we were picking up fish in just about every run.  After that it seemed to be a little more hit or miss.
