Officially Winter

Well folks, winter has finally arrived with colder temperatures and some much needed snow. From the looks of it, this weather pattern is sticking around for a bit. We will have our first legit arctic blast this weekend, with temps dipping down below zero. Thus far, fishing in the New Year has been pretty darn good! 11am to 3pm is kinda the sweet spot, so don’t get to worried about rushing to get out there, let it warm up a little. On the nicer(calmer/milder) days we have been seeing some pretty good midge hatches and the fish are keying in. The Mile road is in pretty decent shape with some drifting snow and ice, so please use caution and check the forecast.
