So here’s the latest update on flows. At 3am on Monday August 14th the Mile will go from 1550 to 1400cfs and Grey Reef will go from 1900 to 1600cfs. The decreases are both due to changes in downstream irrigation demand.
GREY REEF: 1,900cfs. Water is fishable from Grey Reef Dam to Government Bridge. Water temperatures are good, hovering around the high 50s. Clarity downstream is still an issue but should improve as long as we stay dry. Tricos, PMDs, sallies and caddis are all on the menu.
FREMONT CANYON: 82cfs and holding steady. Tricos in the morning and the fish are looking up!.
MIRACLE MILE: Flows have reduced to 1,700cfs. Caddis,PMDs,worms and leeches. The lower reach has been fishing best for sure.
