Well, we’ve had a couple of drops over the past week on Grey Reef and we aren’t complaining. Granted the dry fly has yet to go into warp drive, the fishing has been solid. We are seeing some fish rise just not the big pods of trico gobbling trout. But it’s coming, it has to be. Very little suspended/floating vegetation and clear water on Grey Reef, it’s really nice right now! Nymphing is good/great and the fish are getting fired up to eat a streamer, we are really excited for the next few months!
If you are planning on heading this way make sure to buy your license before you arrive.
