Today is the annual cleanup of the North Platte River in Casper. Thanks to all who donate and especially our Dusty Reed for his contribution as the in water coordinator. Too bad the river suffered a blow last week and is still muddy through town…makes it tough to see debris in the water.
The river is working on correcting itself as the upper portions are fishing very well as is Miracle Mile.
Weather guys are hinting at the possibility of snow by this coming Thursday. They tend to be a little dramatic but bring cold weather gear along with your summer stuff. Could be a nice little skiff on the ground in the coming days. Of course it won’t last long.
